Nothing magic about it, they literally stopped testing for the flu. They didn't even hide it, the openly admitted as much. I know someone who got tested negative for CV, but she needed a Dr note for the flu for work, so she called around to about 50 different places, nobody would test her for the flu or strep. So all they'll need to do it test 1 patient for the flu etc, and there's a "spike".
The problem with us is that we are rule followers. My wife and I are Trump people but she is a believer in government and some MSM and she has followed rules her whole life. I am the opposite of her and when the government says left I think "why not right." Now after telling my wife the Covid tests are overly sensitive and every falsehood about testing, she gets Covid because someone she has been in close contact with has Covid. Then two of her brothers. Now the hard part, try to convince your wife that she doesn't have it. Yes, the sniffles and a cough but she gets sick like this at least 3 times a year. It's the same but going down that road....it is not pleasant.
