Watching the brady 6 made me come around to him. Originally I always hated seeing him talked about as better than peyton manning. But I gotta say he's absolutely earned the recognition. The league office is almost entirely former jets people, and the sports news media hates the Patriots. People got to see networks repeating knowingly false info and not sharing any of the relevant information. It was eye opening look at how modern day media works.
To explain more, the only measurements they had of air in the balls came from one test. They had 2 pumps to use to test, both were tested for accuracy after. The ref says he remembers using pump A. In order for the reports conclusions to make sense he would have had to use pump B. Since they were calibrated differently one would have shown proper range one would have shown light. So they decided to throw out that part, where he said no I used pump a. If he did, there's no story there's no deflation. No viewers, no money.
