There’s a hint of good news hidden beneath the impeachment. If they want to keep Trump from ever holding office again then they must admit to themselves that there is a chance of him winning again, otherwise why would they be afraid of him running in 2024?

If they admit that a second Trump victory is possible, then that directly undermines our rhetoric that the GOP is doomed. Even with a stolen election, there’s still a chance we can win, it’s not too late, and the Republic isn’t lost yet.
