How many of the founding fathers were farmers? How many didn't even go to what's now called middle school?

Yet they were all extremely well read and knowledgeable autodidacts. Credentials aren't education and our colleges are now credential mills, in addition to being indoctrination centers. Farmers still read books, and generally a richer and more varied reading list than your average college student.
