keep in mind how it turned out for hong kong. what I'm more confused about is what trump was expecting to come of jan. 6th?

Think he wanted all those people there for Congress to feel pressure knowing they were surrounded by their constituents.

It definitely backfired with the obvious false flag operation that resulted.

Shame he basically told his following to stand down. Left everyone expecting him to take any kind of action and neutralized any further resistance.

I don't think he expected all of the senators to change their votes just because there were a bunch of trump supporters outside. And he knew antifa would be there, he even tweeted warning them to not come.

Maybe the intent was not for them to immediately change their vote, but to allow for the 10 day audit Ted Cruz was talking about.

I think Trump tried to see the good or rational in people and thats why it did not work.

He assumed they would do the right thing because he always tried to do the right thing.

The swamp is filled with souless immoral creatures who worship money and power. They will never do the right thing unless forced.

I think he put too much faith in Judas Pence.

He put too much faith in a lot of people including some of his children.

No way.

I think DJT had zero trust in Pence. Those who say shit like "they were inseparable" or "they were on the same page" are overlooking that Trump would keep friends close and enemies closer.

Yes, if you were really listening to both the Georgia rally and the 1/6 rally, he was telling everyone Pence would not do the right thing.

but why would he have needed to get everyone there? how would that have influenced pence's decision at all?

I think it was to show all the Reps and sens who were already supporting or on the fence about supporting the challenge of the EC votes how much support was actually out there.

I think he knew it would cause the communist party to panic and demand military protection. He wasn't counting on innocent people getting their brains blown out tho. but thats what happens when you're dealing with something this evil

Hong kong is an unarmed populace attached to China.

America is a heavily civilian armed nation not attached to China.

Same outcome?

He knew about the false flag. He wanted us there to capture the true criminals on camera.

its gotta be something, and I'm still holding out faith that he did that for a reason

They are already on camera, no one is looking at the footage though.

I think he found out about the FF a couple of days prior or actually on the 6th, and heard what time it was scheduled for - which is why I believe he delayed the start of his speech by an hour. So there would be clear evidence of a FF and that he could NOT have incited that crowd to riot at the Capitol.
