When I went to the doctor with strep throat back in 2014, I didn’t have insurance. I told the doctor to prescribe generic antibiotics so I didn’t have to pay for a brand name. He gave me sample packs of Z-packs for free. Went to check out, my normal $80 doctor visit was $30. Ask your grandparents about going to see the doctor when they were growing up. It used to be affordable before insurance and government ruined it.
