Once a week, I go to the laundromat. There are a few regulars that I see each week, and we chat a bit while waiting for our clothes to be done. There is one woman in particular that I talk to, and she is a Trump supporter. Whenever we talk about Trump, we whisper, because we're both older women and we don't want to be attacked. But this week was different. We started talking about how Biden killed all those pipeline jobs, and a man overheard us and joined in the conversation. And he wasn't whispering. Before long, a few other people had jumped in to the conversation and they were all saying that Biden didn't win and that he's going to ruin our country. No more whispering! I think more and more Trump supporters are starting to come out of the woodwork and no longer hiding their feelings. It may be a small thing (just a conversation at the landromat) but it made my day.

This is why we lose the optics war. We must be open and loud about our values. The left is.
Agreed. The challenge, is I can be all Howard Roark and free, while simultaneously losing my job.
Conservative and christian beliefs have no place in the modern progressive company.
I need to figure out how to work it into the conversation. I don't fear covid... i don't wear a mask... I'm not quiet about my support for Trump... except at the office.
modern progressive is a funny way to spell communist
I know. But people roll their eyes at "communist."
I hear ya, people used to roll their eyes at socialist too, now it's considered main stream, acceptable if you will.
You beleive in Gentilism (a new rebranding of chritianity) which is a minority religion and should be respected by HR if you experience hate speech etc etc.
I identify as a Gentilist Goyim, and my people were persecuted for thousands of years and treated as slave by the religious authorities.
