Telegram is nice, but it's not social media. It's a messaging/chat service. It's great for that purpose though, but if you're looking for a new social media platform quit hunting for one that isn't Gab and just go to Gab already.
Many of us were looking for a good Facebook alternative for keeping in touch with IRL friends. MeWe is a LOT like Facebook, which makes it accessible to normies.
I've personally seen two of the groups I was a member of get deleted (both pro-Trump and had nothing to do with "Stop the Steal" .. just general pro-Trump groups).

They don't actually advertise their platform as a free speech platform. Their shtick is "No Ads, No Spyware, No BS" and that they don't sell your data. No mention of free speech anywhere

Everyone moved over to Gab since Parler got taken offline. It's a way better platform anyway.
Check out Gab. It does seem to be a much better platform than Parler was. Still a little on the slow side but I can be patient with a based CEO.
