They are flaunting this. They know a Biden administration is completely under their thumb, they're trying to get Taiwan to surrender without a fight. Either Taiwan will give in, or they'll fight it out, knowing the US military will not lift a finger to help them.
Biden is probably calling Taiwan now telling them all those missiles we sold them have kill switches that can be operated by the US at any time and if they try and fight back he's going to kill all their missiles.
