EDIT: Seems to be working fine now, no VPN needed. We're you using wifi or mobile data? patriots.win worked find with mobile data. McAfee Secure wifi was the culprit for me. Mine started magically working again about 45 minutes ago. You don't need a VPN if you use the brave browser on Android.
Brave is what I use too, never had an issue.

I had the same issue with CenturyLink DSL. We're you using wifi or mobile data? patriots.win worked find with mobile data.
McAfee Secure wifi was the culprit for me. Mine started magically working again about 45 minutes ago.
