SELF FULFILLING PROPHECY! The black mom/dad just made a strong argument for why black people LIKE HER/HIM are treated differently.

Yup.

Racism comes from a few places. The media.

FBI crime stats.

And life experience.

I say life experience, because if anyone has enough bad experiences with a specific demographic, they will develop a negative perspective of said demographic.

That's where a lot of racism comes from. Again, between life experience and media pitting people against one another.

The real issue is culture, not skin color.

With that said, skin color and culture often go hand in hand.

Hiphop culture is 100% considered to be black culture. I enjoy some hiphop, but we can't sit here and pretend it's wholesome music all together.

It's mostly hate driven, crime glorifying, sexist trash.

It's bad for the youth. It's not appropriate for kids, and it's kids who listen to it.

Black music before hiphop went gangster used to be extremely wholesome stuff that everyone of all ages could appreciate.

Again, I'm a hiphop head. I love a lot of it, not so much the new age junk, but oldschool.

I'm a huge Tupac fan, but can't sit here and act like it isn't bad for the black culture in this world.

When I was a kid I used to get followed home and jumped by Mexican kids. I really really disliked Mexican people for a long time and it took a conscious effort to rid myself of the bias. My wife is Latina her family are super based Hispanics and I love them dearly. I regret lumping all Hispanic people into the same category but it is what it is and life happened how it happened.
