This is how it always works with a successful 3rd party, it will take time to get up to full steam but it will replace an incumbent party.

I have no doubt a Patriot Party would "split the vote" initially but an old dying party like the GOP would really struggle to get financial backing and the fade away if they were in 3rd place. Right now the Dems have both houses and the Presidency, they did that through voter fraud.

There are two related problems, organizing a party is hard, it takes a lot of work and it needs to have people in many positions. However, this is close to the same reason why the Patriot Party is needed, trying to take over the GOP not only requires our people to take over the party machinery but it we will encounter significant resistance trying to do so.

With a new party that resistance is not there and we can build the machinery needed.

I have seen the left try and take over the Democrats for decades, they are no closer today than there were when they started. It is also possible the left might finally start their own party if a patriot party emerges.

My bet is the left will start their own party too.

Yes, I agree. There will be four parties before too long if this was to happen. And I believe over time the Rep/Dem parties would combine into an actual Uniparty, or possibly die out.
