So are you saying because he did not refer to the past that this is not important for the 2020 election? One still could not make an argument in another suit to that effect?

Slavik777 91 points ago +93 / -2

Is the whole of US is now going to be ok with mail in ballots? I thought that only absentee were allowed and not mail in which has broken chain of custody and a complete mess of harvesting.

97
NotQuiteHuman 97 points ago +99 / -2

Of course we're not okay with it. But they're going to force it on us anyway.

That's how tyranny works, dontcha know.

But what about 2022? LOL.

32
Hachimata 32 points ago +32 / -0

Until these bastards are put out to pasture, mail-in is going to be the new norm, as well as everything else from 2020.

3

I'm betting masks are here to stay, especially during flu seasons. A lot of people will probably continue wearing them at all times, forever. Sadly

19
Newacct 19 points ago +23 / -4

The majority of the country is too stupid to see the inherent flaws with universal mail in ballots.

They legitimately believe that 2020 was the "most secure election of all time."

34
Repentnow 34 points ago +34 / -0

Not a majority. Not even close.

17
Heywood_youblowme 17 points ago +17 / -0

Truly I don't believe it's a majority either. Even our enemies know this is bullshit, they just don't care. If it worked against them then you'd never hear the end of it.

Trademark 10 points ago +10 / -0

Peoples Pundit has done polling on mail in ballots and strong voter ID and voters on both sides prefer in person and strong voter ID.

No voters want less verification. Dems think that Republicans cheat just as much as they do.

Only dem politicians want less verification and they know why.

3
Newacct 3 points ago +3 / -0

I've yet to meet or come across a single Democrat who thinks that the election was anything but perfect.

2
Trademark 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree but your everyday dem voter has been conditioned by democrat politicians to think republicans cheat in every election so they want to shut it down. Many democrats think Trump cheated in 2016 and 2020 to get as many votes as he did. They say stupid shit like, “why won’t Trump ask for an audit in red states”.

9
FluhanWu 9 points ago +9 / -0

“majority”.... not at all. Don’t worry fellow pede, we all fall for the psyops every now and then. That’s why we are here to remind each other. They are trying to gaslight the entire country. They won’t get us. Truth is we outnumber them. BY A LOT!

18
DonaldTrumpForever 18 points ago +18 / -0

How can mail-in ballots be legal? How can I even tell you're a person who is legally supposed to be here and can vote, if you mail in your ballot? It's like the fucking matrix except the robots are the Dems.

8
Treyay83 8 points ago +8 / -0

The bill proposed in congress at this very moment allows anyone to sign up for absentee ballots

3
NicklePickle 3 points ago +3 / -0

So, what your saying is, anyone named “Maga Mann” can show up and vote absentee?

12
WiseOldOwl 12 points ago +13 / -1

You would think, but there is a lawyer way of thinking where it's not about truth and justice but about procedure. Drives normal people nuts. Like, you get convicted of murder and I then confess to the murder and produce video of me doing it and the head of the victim.

As long as your trial had the correct procedure everything is A-okay with them. No changes needed. Maybe you can get a pardon if you are lucky.

49

I remember Fox Biz called Virginia for Trump. Then 15 mins later suddenly “found” 100s of 1000s of Biden ballots & the call was rescinded

43
BunnyPicnic 43 points ago +43 / -0

Trump was DESTROYING Virginia. When I saw the numbers on ELECTION DAY, I knew it was a landslide. But he somehow ended up losing.

47

Such is our life as Xers, ALWAYS forgotten...........

5
coneofsilence 5 points ago +5 / -0

We live in Virginia and thought Trump had a solid chance to pick it off. Then Fox literally called it the SECOND the polls closed, just like they called Vermont. We knew then that there was trouble.

About 30 minutes later, my buddies caught an image going around social media of the now familiar wagons with boxes of ballots being pulled out of a van, I think in Fairfax or Richmond. We knew at that moment there was going to be serious trouble.

1
Peachykeen74 1 point ago +1 / -0

Chesapeake never goes blue. Neither does franklin county.

Virginia was 2A-hot RED. It was STOLEN on multiple levels because the deep state needs Sen Mark Warner (who’s grown ugly from evil) on the Sen intel committee.

You’re telling me that firebrand Rep Nick “won-in-the-primary-by-a-landslide-with-a-write-in-campaign” FREITAS from Culpepper, whom he’s been representing forever, suddenly loses to an ex-CIA agent Democrat whose team “found” 15k votes on a thumb drive at 8pm?

Come on VA, INVESTI-freakin-GATE!!

3
Pirate_Lafitte 3 points ago +3 / -0

If an ex-CIA agent won, the Hammer scorecard was used to get them the seat

27
Tejas_Pepe 27 points ago +27 / -0

This is gonna get real messy. If virginia ruled it illegal, surely the swing states will as well.<

This is what I have been shouting about since the election. State after state passed unconstitutional election laws. All votes cast using those unconstitutional laws are invalid and must be thrown out.

The SC ruled on this in October and said the same thing, it's unconstitutional for anyone except state legislatures to enact or alter election laws, covid is no excuse to ignore the Constitution.

Everyone has been distracted chasing after fraud. Yeah, fraud happened but that's a different issue, one for a different battle.

This Constitutional battle is the one to be fighting foremost, no need to have an investigation, search for hard evidence, the evidence is there in the open, self evident.

I'm convinced this is why the Dems are pushing impeachment. They know this can cost them the election still. An unconstitutional election cannot be allowed to stand.

START FIGHTING THIS BATTLE DAMN IT!!!!!!!

9
BunnyPicnic 9 points ago +9 / -0

It's what I'm hoping. I remember seeing a post here that showed multiple court cases in different states that are still active. If those states rule it illegal, shit us gonna hit the fan. You can admit it was illegal, and expect us to just carry on.

9
Tejas_Pepe 9 points ago +9 / -0

It drives me crazy that this is just laying out there in the open waiting for someone to take it up.

Texas tried, but got the "you don't have standing" BS. Sidney Powell was right, if Texas doesn't have standing then somebody does.

It might require a state by state challenge, but the SC has already ruled these new laws unconstitutional.

1
Stratego 1 point ago +1 / -0

So doesn’t this become a precedent that will be referenced in those other states with their lawsuits as well? Or does it have to get appealed and ruled on by a federal court first?

2
Tejas_Pepe 2 points ago +2 / -0

Don't know really, but my guess is it would require a Federal ruling to set precedent across the nation. I think this is just a state court case. This might get appealed and kicked up to Federal Court however.

1
Recyclops 1 point ago +1 / -0

The Pennsylvania case is still going on at the US Supreme Court.

https://www.supremecourt.gov/Search.aspx?FileName=/docket/docketfiles/html/public\20-845.html

1
Tejas_Pepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

What exactly is that case about?

2
Recyclops 2 points ago +2 / -0

"The suit asks the Court to evaluate the constitutionality of three Pennsylvania Supreme Court decisions: In re November 3, 2020 Gen. Election, In re Canvassing Observation, and In re Canvass of Absentee & Mail-In Ballots of November 3, 2020 Gen. Election."

Edit to include different link:

https://www.inquirer.com/politics/election/trump-appeals-pa-supreme-court-2020-election-decisions-20201220.html

3
Tejas_Pepe 3 points ago +3 / -0

OK, thanks.

Don't like the sound of this however...

Federal courts have consistently protected ballots cast by voters relying in good faith on the election rules that were in place at the time, even if those rules are later deemed unconstitutional.

Illegal, unconstitutional votes should not be allowed. It's true it is not the fault of the voter who cast their ballot in good faith, but it IS the fault of the officials who acted illegally.

5
Recyclops 5 points ago +5 / -0

Kathy Boockvar, the Penn. Secretary of State a few days ago:

"It’s time for unity."

And her in 2017:

"Using the title ‘President’ before the world ‘Trump’ really demeans the office of the presidency."

She's a criminal and a traitor.

Not at all, first of all the article only mentions late arriving mail-in ballots without a postmark, not all mail-in ballots. Second, the judge ruled it violated state statutes, meaning that the legality of this is contingent upon state-specific law, not US Constitution violations that could be generalized to other states.

48
GlockArm 48 points ago +48 / -0

7
Joeshmoe91 7 points ago +7 / -0

It’s embarrassing that some of them really do. It’s just about a statistical impossibility that this happened. There isn’t a voting ratio like this that exists in the entire country even in the bluest of districts. It does not happen

It wasn't even a law. VA BoE decided to make up their own rule changing VA statute (i.e. LAW). Illegal, duh. Glad that took 3 months to sort out.

What this ruling effectively says is "No repercussions for temporarily breaking the law. Can't do anything about it this time. Just don't do it again!"

Hello fellow 757 pede. My guess is at least 2016. Nobody voted for that potato Goober Northam. They’ve been rigging the primaries for a long time.

No one likes Warner... he didn’t even campaign! If you read the book “the Colorado blueprint,” it tells their strategy for “flipping” a state blue.

I think ballot-box absentee fraud started the first time this state went blue. Maybe around the Clintons? Def by Obama ‘12. Unfortunately, the longer it stays blue, the more the kids get brainwashed at school and the it’ll go LEGIT blue.

They’re trying to get the teachers unions in now... haaaalp.

On Oct. 28, one week before the Nov. 3 federal elections, Eldridge blocked the law due to the PILF lawsuit. Virginia was therefore prevented from counting late ballots without postmarks, PILF spokesperson Logan Churchwell told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

It says this was blocked before the election, so they weren't supposed to count these ballots in 2020. It wouldn't surprise me if it happened anyway but they say they didn't.

I know Trump was winning all day but I think Biden's big dump of votes came on election night so they couldn't have been received after election day. They were probably faked some other way.

Congress can regulate elections too, per the Elections Clause, at least for Senators and Representatives. Historically, the states have implemented these regulations for local & presidential elections too, to avoid a two-track election system with twice the bureaucracy. There's not much case law, but it seems very probable that it would be legal to deviate from these regulations for the presidential election, and it's definitely legal for local elections.

On Oct. 28, one week before the Nov. 3 federal elections, Eldridge blocked the law due to the PILF lawsuit. Virginia was therefore prevented from counting late ballots without postmarks, PILF spokesperson Logan Churchwell told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

In the article: "On Oct. 28, one week before the Nov. 3 federal elections, Eldridge blocked the law due to the PILF lawsuit. Virginia was therefore prevented from counting late ballots without postmarks, PILF spokesperson Logan Churchwell told the Daily Caller News Foundation." So they were stopped for the 2020 election -

I agree but does it speak to the broader issue: state legislatures (per the Constitution) promulgate election laws not SOS, Board of Elections or any other board of bureaucrats. If this judge understands this concept shouldn’t judges in PA, GA, WI and AZ?

commie states of america. we are fucked.

This headline is a bit misleading, unless I'm not understanding the article correctly. From what I read, they were not counted in 2020. I think this is to prevent them from EVER counting.

You are correct!

What was an injunctive relief (specific to Nov 3rd 2020 election) is now "permanent". But the article and PILF Jan 25th announcement are kind of shit in explaining that.

maga_mama_757 5 points ago +5 / -0

Agree, and thanks for clarifying!

Misleading or outright incorrect headlines can be a real problem. I hope this gets unstickied.

This is Dino Rossi all over again. Rossi won the Governorship for WA state as per computer count. They counted again and he won again. They then did a "hand" recount and all of a sudden he lost. After awarding the governorship to Gregoire they did an investigation. It appeard that they allowed a lot of illegal votes. Oh well, they already put Gregoire in office. So sorry, maybe next time. Bunch of thieves.

They’ll use a no evict Covid law to keep Biden in the White House. Trump can resume from Florida.

Interesting how the left just knows the right doesn’t cheat in elections. Like this is their own unique clever trick. They don’t fear consequences. We should stop saying voter fraud. It’s a crime. They’re criminals.

That works with robbing banks right?

If you get out of the door with the money they consider it bygones and let you keep it?

Well, for one, people here, while they like to whine a lot, should start referring to "illegal mail-in ballots" every time Biden is mentioned. And provide a link to the ruling.

Every
single
time

And then sue any entity that tries to claim that information is false.

The article says the changes were blocked by a judge before the election so they supposedly weren’t in place during the election.

Brilliant, we violated the law, so to fix it we will ban the law and it won't be a problem in the future.

This ruling only upholds that late arriving ballots are invalid. Has no bearing on other challenges regarding mail in ballot measures.

This means “we don’t need mail in ballots to cheat. We can just truck paper ballots in after we close the polls.”

1

Ok. Also calculate how that would have changed the counts in 2020, for the record.

The headline of this post is misleading. They actually did the right thing before the election, this ruling just makes it permanent. :)

This type of behavior is completely unreasonable. "Whoops, sorry, looks like this law actually was illegal and, sure, maybe it screwed you guys over that we didn't look at this 3 months ago but we promise to be on top of this for the next election". The flagrant disregard for any type of really election integrity is vomit inducing. These people should be thrown out and never allowed to hold a federal job again.

As a Virginian I can tell you this state has turned into a Leftist shit hole the western side of the state has always been right wing mostly conservative and libertarians but over the last 10 years thousands of people from blue states have moved here and that's what has flipped the state blue As much as I would like to say the Democrats cheated here in Virginia I don't think they needed to do so we are outnumbered by pink haired commies who are making Virginia a carbon copy of California
