Agree but I do feel like it’s BS to charge him on that specific count unless he personally breached the fence. How many thousands were there after the criminals broke down the fences? There’s no way everyone could know there was a fence there at one time. To a lesser degree, the people entering the building as the cops opened the door shouldn’t be charged either. But I think a smart person would know that isn’t a good idea.
I agree but a lot of people probably had no idea the fences were breached. Especially since they had been moved backwards either by the rioters or the police themselves. Say the cops moved the line back after the initial people breached it, well before someone new came to the grounds. Well now the new people see a sign that says “this area closed” so they don’t enter that portion. It’s not fair to charge those people. But I do have to think common sense should tell you not to walk into or on the building. Basically, the police should share some blame too.
