This is a stupid idea that will only cement the power of the senate as they sit there for 12 years while all the house members are replaced in half that time.

Limit the senate to one 6 year term and the house to a total of 12 years.

House members dont have as much power as senators do, and with elections every 2 years with a much smaller base, they are far easier to replace anyway.

This is yet another example of Lyin Ted doing Mitchs dirty work, dont fall for it.

Or better yet, repeal the 17th.
