Nice but they’re never going to vote for it. Why would they vote to put themselves out of a job.

You can simply add a provision that current legislators are grandfathered in. That way, the people still get what they want, and Congress doesn't have to put themselves out of a job.

I guess I didn’t clarify. What I mean is even if they were grandfathered in, why would they vote to remove themselves from power when they can just keep collecting that sweet taxpayer money. Case in point Dianne Feinstein dusty carcass still running and she dang near 90 years old at this point.
