Need to look into convention of states. Amendments can be passed without involving congress. Only way to make this happen.

I wouldn't trust a convention of states at this point. Not until we get a patriot party or vote out most of the current GOP.

There's too much misinformation, so let me stop you there. Convention of States is safe because you need 34 states to call a convention ABOUT SPECIFIC ISSUES and 38 to ratify.

You will never find 38 state legislatures willing to abolish the Constitution or the bill of rights. And only issues genuinely attractive to both parties can pass.

The only reason conventions haven't succeeded in the past is because Congress sniffed what was coming, did the amendment themselves, and took the credit. This is extremely unlikely for congressional term limits. State legislatures on the other hand will likely enjoy a boost in importance on a popular issue.

WE must take the state legislatures. One of the most powerful bodies in our republic, but they’ve been completely marginalized.
