When they're shipping you away to prisons for tweets, enforcing no-knock warrants and killing you in your sleep and designating you a domestic terrorist for supporting your president and your country, do you not think you should defend yourself at that point?

Where's the line that you draw?

They're not mass arresting people though because armed Trump voters outnumber their boot licking cops. They're just arresting figureheads and people who stood out on video to scare people. They can't arrest everyone, that would be impossible and too many industries/supply chains rely on those same people to do jobs. The only thing they can do is scare, because if they tried to come after people they would lose so fast between the gun owners and the critical industry employees (like truckers or farmers). The main thing they're trying to do is prevent organization because in large numbers a Trump voter boycott or strike would cripple this country.

You still don't get it. They didn't have to arrest everyone. They only have to arrest enough to make people go into hiding. How many did they arrest on or since 1/6? However many that was, it was enough to make everyone on this site go from "Fuck around and find out" to "don't get violent, its what they want us to do" overnight.

I never said get violent because that's not necessary. Large enough numbers of people boycotting or striking something is all that's needed. Look what happened to Fox news when a bunch of people just stopped watching a channel. If they did "come" for large numbers of people at their homes then, sure, that's what the second amendment is for, but they'll never do that because the dems are outnumbered and it will never work. In reality we're far from that scenario right now. Organization is key. Like how this site is used to centrally gather then spread information. Or economically, boycotting places like Walmart or Amazon and encourage buying American. Or withholding support/donations and hammering any GOP candidate who voted to certify the election with criticism. Those are the easy things people are doing now and ramping that up would mean severe hits to industries- like critical workers refusing blue states certain services. Enough people walking into a store without masks on nationwide would end the mask bs tomorrow, it just takes a big enough group doing something at once. That comes waaay before armed revolution, that's the "final box" for a reason.
