I have made some comments criticizing GEOTUS for his in my view unfair reaction to the capitol protesters (my subjective view is that he threw them under the bus).
The comments are all deleted. Basically I am making this post to check if the forum is censored or not and maybe others also got their comments deleted.
Had this site, under its previous name, allowed more of a rounded discussion all the while rallying, there might of been a preparation for what to was to come.
Its actually ridiculous for adults to just beleive anything in blind faith, ignoring anything outside what is rooting for you team, and pretending like there isn't a ability to discuss things and that ideas cannot be explored.
We have the ability to really be educated amongst ourselves- which allows growth. Aiming for less makes no sense.
We can be high energy. We should! But we can also approach conversation with ourselves with high energy- why is there a ceiling?
I agree with what you have to say. I wanted to give OP reasoning for his comment deletions - he is likely violating the rule.
The Moderators really need to create separate rules for handshakes.
I dont think we need seperate rules. I think comments should be addressed on their merits - regardless of the time frame on the site.
The issue imo remains that we are in an era now that may not involve Trump rallies. The last being Jan 6th.
I think a lot of the problem comes from the fact that we have swarms of handshakes filling up the platform and leaving negative comments on every post.
The content of their messages does not matter. These people do not want to have a legitimate argument. If you were to legitimately argue with them, they would just use logical fallacies against you in an attempt to troll and shut down the conversation.
In other words? They aren't sending their best.
Non-handshake accounts, even dissenters, act differently than handshakes. They seem to know when to pipe up, when to stay quiet. They know how to have a proper argument.
While should be able to have a conversation about the President's actions, positive or negative, we must acknowledge the fact that the vast majority of handshakes are just here to stir shit.
I see. Maybe im biased. I was a handshake not long ago. I only heard of the forum not long after the vote.
