I work with a bunch of people who hate Trump (including my boss). What makes it worse is the fact that we are a very small business that deals with Churches and construction. I’m not a construction person, but I do Admin work. Well, today a bunch of them were sitting there in the office bitching away about how Xiden was ruining the economy by increasing the minimum wage. Mind you, these same particular people were doing “victory laps” and dancing around the office on Xiden’s Inauguration Day. Didn’t take long for that to change. I don’t think my eyes could roll any further back into my skull.

With low IQ, you can just be ignorant.
With high IQ, you can be informed, but informed with faulty information, and you can easily succumb to confirmation bias, and your mental faculties can allow you to form constructs and ideas that support your preferred reality, even if completely fallacious.
No hate, but I have witnessed a lot of that sort of thinking on great awakening. They hoped for an outcome (as did I), so as that outcome became less and less likely they clung to increasingly unlikely symbology/messaging/predictions when the most straightforward explanation was also the most likely outcome. Many folks on there are smart, but are sometimes applying their creative minds in ways that ultimately betray them.
