I'm very non-confrontational and live in upstate NY. I haven't seen a single person in public without a mask (outside the gun store) since March. This weekend I decided I'm not putting up with the shit anymore, went to the grocery store maskless. Got a couple of looks, not sure if they were like, this fucker is gonna kill grandma, or if they were more, damn this guy has balls. Probably a bit of both. Either way, nobody said a fucking word.
This is the way folks. Be bold, be the first. Never wanted to be trend setter, but I hope this one catches.
Another good one is to remove your mask while checking out. What are they going to do? Kick you out? Then they would have to put your items back and start a confrontation, etc. It's been my experience that they will, at most, scoff and finish the transaction.
And when you're out to dinner, tip (well) with cash. Write "Taxation is Theft. Trump won! On the tip line. It's too late for them to spit in your food, at that point. If they spit in your face, you get to punch them. You know...covid and all.
