I'll never understand why the Clintons had such a hard on for the Branch Davidians. There were, and are, hundreds of worse cults in the US.

It was really the height of FBI incompetence. Koresh and his followers routinely went into town to shop. They did so many times while under FBI surveillance. The FBI could have picked up Koresh and the leadership while they were in town, and the rest would have given up.
