The VA is rolling out a new medical messaging program to replace MyHealthEVet. It is being tested at the Spokane VA. It was started late last year. FACTS: They forced us to use this new system. ALL DATA FROM EVET WAS WIPED. No messages, access to records, etc. GONE!! Log into the new system... NO DATA, MESSAGING HISTORY... A BLANK NEW SYSTEM. Ok, so let's send a message to my doctor...hmmm I NEED TO KNOW THE FIRST NAME OF MY DOCTOR?? NO pull down menu of my team. Nothing.
Question: Which 3rd grade child designed this software?
Now that is the patient interface. The internal workings of the hospital is now a shit show! I cannot tell it all here!
VETS: GET YOUR RECORDS IN ORDER. WE ARE BEING TESTED HERE NOW.
Does this impact eBenefits too? Do I need to web archive my rating before they pretend I never had one?
You should have the paperwork that stated your rating when you got out of the military, or if you were out and granted one the paperwork when that happened, as well as a yearly letter that says your rating as well as any COLA changes for the upcoming year. I've got those plus the breakdown for the rating they gave me in a book with all the other stuff from the military like orders and the few medical records they allowed me to keep and didn't take back when I was out processing.
It wouldn't surprise me if they tried to "adjust" ratings or flat out get rid of them for anyone on the lower end, but you should never get rid of the paperwork you got that shows it in print no matter what.
I think I’ve got all my documents recorded somewhere. If they changing systems are information is vanishing it seems it might be smart to make 100% sure my records are in order.
I can totally see the Biden administration announcing they have “updated VA records” and found huge savings.
If nothing else, get onto the portal tonight and get the current rating's printout that you can get through that. It's better than nothing and it'll at least be something you can check against later on.
With how much they're screwing with things they're going to do something to vet's so best to get ahead of that quickly now that we know they're messing with basic stuff.
