So you're not really a Trump supporter at all.

I support DJT, but I'd like to see him build a media empire... not get bogged down in the thick of politics.

Trump deserves and will have his second term.

I don't want to see him run again, I want him properly installed as President now as he was intended to be.

Me too.... but I'm not a Q supporter, so I am not waiting for that.

He is going to be 78 years old in 2024. I care about him too much to want to see him die in office, in the service of an ungrateful America.

The issue really is - even if he does serve a second term - what next?

His either completed his presidency and no one knows where to go from here - or he serves another term and the what next remains the same.

So it seems to me the real priority is starting right now. There should be multiple people who can represent the Rep. Base or a new party - yet that seems unlikely to me (new party).

Trump getting a 2nd term is not the priority. Have we not learnt 1 man is not the answer?

Be best to acknowledge what the dems have done well- they have multiple people to jump between.

Agreed. At the end of the day, it's going to take a sustained, multi-faceted approach to turn this around (assuming we're not too late).

Honestly, I think Trump (and his family) deserve something of a break as well.

He’s not going to, he’s a Kingmaker now. There’s conservative money in the shadows, that his task.

Exactly.

I would add, the Trump Populist movement is global. He’ll be working with Populist leaders in others countries like Mexico.

I'm hoping he picks Hawley as a protege. He a Trump guy and fighter who knows the Washington game.

Food4thought [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm going to suggest that we avoid picking people based solely on who we "like" Hawley didn't do shit about section 230 and signed his name on that garbage spending bill they passed the end of last year. That doesn't mean he's not "on our side," but we need to take stock of people based on what they DO and not just what they SAY.

perfect politicians don't exist. They can't control everything, even Trump signed shit he hated.

You know who didn't? Ron Johnson.

So he should be POTUS?

1
Food4thought [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

To be perfectly honest, if we are doing things right it won't matter who is POTUS. We need seats in congress with patriots ready to sign legislation that puts America First. The POTUS could be a rubber stamp for all I care.

Don Jr doesn't have half of his dad's talents (and his siblings even less so). I just don't see it.
