Its just something I kinda have been thinking about in recent years, especially as I got older, looked at the things I was taught in K-12 and college, talked to older workers, things they were taught, as well a learned how jobs we perform and objects we use in our day to day lives actually work, and a conclusion I reached is that kids, your future workers, voters, and entrepreneurs aren't taught value. Not to value themselves or their time, and not to question things, but simply memorize what they're told, and not take action, or be penalized for it.
The way I look at it, kids today and the young adults now have been largely taught that it is a travesty to exist and consume unless you've been given a free pass by being an oppression victim. It targets really anyone with a sense of drive, but primarily whites since they're still the largest demographic in the middle-class.
If you really, genuinely want to understand the causes, the issues, the systems at work, etc. (and aren't just pretending), I strongly recommend that you visit various imageboards somewhat frequently and use them wisely.
