I have mixed feelings about the Olympics. On one hand it boosts morale in the host country, which is really needed right now. On the other hand, the funding for building structures for the Olympics is so mismanaged that it bankrupts the city that hosts it, this is including after taking into account the revenue generated from visitors.
It's a total waste and a net loss for most home countries, but Florida wouldn't be building anything for it to go on. Probably just use a hodgepodge of stadiums in the state; plus we already have the NBA bubble thing so why not.
They can do it without spending all that money and on such short notice they wouldn't be able to build additional facilities. The only problem with Florida is in the summer a hurricane could shut them down, but if they spread the games across the state they could make it work.
