But what if I lost them in a boat accident?

Well, if your state has laws requiring you to report missing or stolen firearms within 24-72 hours, you'll be going to jail if you try to use that excuse for missing firearms that have a 4473 with your name on it.

Look up HR 127 and HR 167. They have yet to be scheduled for a vote or anything else, but they are very much active.

BTW, why did the Biden Gun tax get a bunch of traction today? Was an EO signed or something?

I honestly have no idea why it did but if the last year or two has taught me anything its that if something gains traction in the media its because we're about to see an EO or something like it.

This was the post that made you ask right? https://patriots.win/p/11SK2ZGCRC/tfw-you-hear-about-xidens-new-gu/

It didn't have an article (be it MSM or Free Media) attached to it as best as I could tell. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure this is the first I've heard of a "Biden" gun tax. The gun control plans shown here https://joebiden.com/gunsafety/ do not use the word 'tax' one time (unless the page was edited), which is kinda surprising, since they mention practically everything else relating to gun control. If you're referring to HR5717, which would have instituted a 30% tax on firearms and a 50% tax on ammo, that bill died at the end of the 116th congress and has not yet been reintroduced into the 117th congress as far as I know. The text of HR127 and HR167 has not been published on the congress.gov website, so it is possible that HR127 is a carbon copy of HR5717. From what I have been able to find out, HR 127 would institute a National FOID system for all (not just "assault weapons) firearms and ammo purchases, and make it illegal to own a firearm or ammo without having a 'Gun Owner's License" (very much like Australia, Canada, or Illinois) and all guns must be registered. Again, I have not seen the text, so I'm inferring that from the title ("To provide for the licensing of firearm and ammunition possession and the registration of firearms, and to prohibit the possession of certain ammunition").

HR167 ("To prohibit the transfer of a firearm at a gun show by a person who is not a federally licensed firearms dealer") is only slightly less bad, in that it wouldn't require one to first have a FOID in order to buy a firearm or ammo. It seems to be geared towards closing the "gun-show loophole" (AKA a Universal Background Check law). Basically, by prohibiting private sales of firearms, all gun transfers would have to have a 4473 filled out at a dealer, which would make all guns registered when they are purchased. (Yes, I know that 4473s can be tracked to owners now, but one can plausibly say that they sold their guns for cash to a stranger, and that's the end of the trail).

I dont know why ive heard about it today.... I want to say i heard gatewaypundit released something on it today? you would think Xiden admin would be focused on things that mattered like jobs and the economy not trying to take away rights from the ppl. Its interesting because Gov Abbot of texas just recently was talking about making TX a 2A sanctuary... as other states have also been talking about. But the youtube gunners i follow didnt say anyting about it today...

Oh I have no doubt gun control is their highest priority (now that they completely control the soap, ballot and jury boxes, they surely don't want us to be able to enact change via the cartridge box). At any rate I doubt we'll know much about any EOs until the day they are signed. I don't think the deep state is gonna say, "Hey, we're signing an EO day after tomorrow that'll put a 1000% tax on ammo purchases, better order what you need tomorrow. (Or maybe they will to mess up the gun market). Legislation (usually) has to at least be scheduled and "voted" on first, which may at least give some warning. As for Gov Abbot, that guy is a NWO snake, no matter what he says about making TX a 2A sanctuary. Masks = compliance with the NWO. Masks are a solid way to tell fake patriots from real ones.

BTW, were you able to find what gateway pundit wrote about a Biden Gun Tax?

Ya they released an article today talking about how he wants Ar15s registered under the nfa and a 200 dollar tax stamp on them... and a tax stamp for every magazine over 10 rounds. also that he wants a gun buy back plan. It says 8.4 million ppl became gun owners for the first time in 2020... probably most of those ppl voted for biden. i know some ppl who live in california who when the rioting started were saying hey i want to buy a gun. what do i need to do..etc.. i told them to fuck themselves because i know they were the same ppl who vote for politicians who want "gun control" any way, it also said theres some 13 page document that needs to be filled out along with finger prints all that stuff, same stuff you would fill out for a sbr or suppressor. Its just weird because nothing was new from the article it was all stuff that was on bidens website from before but for some reason gateway released the article today.....

Oh yeah, I forgot about the NFA registry technically being a tax.

I'm not sure why anyone should follow any of this. Biden is illegitimate. Pipeline should keep building, etc.
