Smells like a crappy ssl termination to me. See, this is why I simply don't believe the FBI, the CIA, or Silicon Valley in general can't rule the world - they can't get basic crap like this right.

I don't trust firefox either, but something else is going on here. Perhaps someone is trying a man in the middle attack against you? How trustworthy is your internet connection?

They may be blocking it, but I get this kind of message when it looks like I'm connected to someone elses's wifi but the login screen did not pop up so it's not really connected.
