This is why merely offering "The choice to separate" isn't even considered.

All the arguments brought forth by the Left can be met by giving the fetus their own Doctor and doing a best effort extraction on the new Ward of the State (or father, whatever). Yes, it's still riskier and exceeds our current skills at some portions of the pregnancy ... but the Left wants the death.
