I think I just figured out why the push for impeachment.
Bear with me.
What if Roberts isn’t THAT much of a scumbag. What if the word from that staffer got out to make him seem like more of one? Soon, all the cases are going to be seen at once for the states that fucked up the election. The ones that didn’t follow their own laws, etc. Not the fraudulent thing, that’s another beast entirely. The thing where they changed the laws and such at the last minute. SCOTUS might rule in their favor. Congress, or at least a few swamp creatures know this. They want to impeach Trump quickly so he will not be able to be president when they overturn Biden’s “win”.
Roberts is staying out of that because he doesn’t want the appearance that he didn’t convict Trump on the impeachment, THEN handed him the presidency through SCOTUS.
He’s probably still a scumbag but he’s one that thinks SCOTUS is above the petty squabbles of the other two branches.
They tried removing him in his last couple days with the 25th Amendment. That didn’t take. Now they’re trying to impeach him so he can’t come back into office again. This is not simple hatred of him. This has ass covering written all over it.
Does this train of thought hold water? Or am I just a crazy person?

No! Roberts isnt presiding over it because it is clearly so unconstitutional and would set dangerous precedent for SCOTUS. Being the scumbag POS he is, instead of saying its unconstitutional and that he doesn't want a hand in it, he just steps aside like a pussy
True. I mean, it’s not like he cared about the Constitution back when the cases were in front of him.
I considered that, and you might very well be right. But they almost pulled off this coup. If they fail, they all fry.

Hate to say it but the coup looks pretty successful. I don't see any recourse in reversing the results.
Yeah, it's all misdirection. As long as the public's attention is captivated by the political spectacle of impeachment then nobody will be looking into the fraud. And the fake press plays along to provide them with the illusion of legitimacy. What do they care about the truth? As long as the theater plays out on their stage then they get rich.

Nope. None of the cases will be seen. No judge in no court will look at any of the evidence.
It’s going before SCOTUS. They kicked the cases out and told them to come back when they have their case put together properly.
Roberts is corrupt and hates Trump. He will do as told. I doubt he will allow anything to change fraudulent outcome. He knows it is fraudulent and swore Joe in. Same with Soto and Kommie. Consummating treason for all four.
I'm over hoping or wondering if someone is actually playing both sides, or is a sort of "double agent " if you will. I'm just taking in all the info at this point for what its worth, and it really is worth nothing until something concrete happens.

They may just be following instructions and (like us) have no idea where the show goes next. This would explain to me how pitifully POTATUS is behaving, how tone deaf so many other critters are behaving, and why their soft kill propaganda has lost any nuance.
