Consider that what you are saying is true short term. Long term they literally are selling out their country and fellow Americans for personal gain, and for pennies on the dollar. Even longer term, where does the treason end for them? Are they selling their eternal souls so that they can spend eternity in hell?

The very real possibility of them spending eternity in hell does literally nothing for us still in this life.

And I'm saying that doing nothing now while hoping that "they" will be justly punished in the next life is far more dangerous.
