We definitely are but I think we will hit a tipping point and things will get VERY BAD.
The death and destruction is unnecessary but we won't do anything before that point.
It's like waiting on a heart attack to decide to stop eating too much and being lethargic. You could prevent the heart attack and save the money, but why spend less time and effort when you can deal with heavy shit instead?
