Over my head probably, but what is the joke being made about pyramids using slave labor? Are you saying people are accurate or inaccurate when saying pyramids were the result of slave labor?
They weren't made using slave labor, and actually the workers were paid quite well. Those mega projects were actually a way for the Egyptian government to redistribute their wealth to the citizenry while improving their country, not unlike the federal highway project. The Egyptians recognized that if they sat on their wealth then it would eventually cause the local economy to become illiquid and so decided to pump currency back into the system that way.
I see both claims a lot but never see anyone post evidence to back up either. So far as I know, the only historical documentation supporting the slave theory is the Bible itself. I have never seen any contemporary documents saying the workers were well paid free men, and have long held a suspicion that the whole theory is just another means to discredit the Bible's truth.
Inb4 some sperg ignores the fact that you made a joke and starts going “ ACKCHUWALLY “ about the pyramids and slave labor
