Exactly this! I mean I’d be thrilled to have someone want to show my dogs. Even pups I’ve just kept breeding rights to I discount significantly. I’d be more than happy to let someone put their name on just to handle.

Sure JR handling is about judging the handler, not the dog. But the structure and how to make it look correct is also important.
They say it’s not inclusive because purebred dogs are expensive as is showing (it’s a hobby). And that dog sports are full of “gatekeepers”. IT’S ABOUT PRESERVING A POPULATION OF DOG BREED AND MAKING IT BETTER TO THE STANDARD.
My breed club is already bunkers with these progressives. Might leave the 5 years of work I have in this breed for gun dogs, I’m pretty sick of it.
Women are the problem, they just want to be “nice” and “inclusive”. We recently had a blow up in our club wanting to put antidiscrimination into our code of ethics. FEW had any idea how this could be a bad idea (things breeders have to abide by within the club) and many pushed a single word concept. Not a single person would write up what was to be added. It’s all so bonkers.
They actually want children but most of the time they either can't or they fucked up with their own. So they get easier versions. Dogs, cats, my friends who swore never to have children own a turtle... because they couldn't be bothered with actually raising something.
