While I'm against abortion depending on circumstances like rape or something like that I think the option should also be extended to genetic defects as well depending on severity. While this may not be popular opinion a severe mental disability can bring many financial and emotional difficulties. Now in this particular bill I have not read so I'm not sure of the verbiage but is there going to be financial or child care assistance? How can you force a woman to have a mentally disabled child she knows she can't handle? she's already devastated. I personally don't have the means to take care of a child with special needs like that and I have a good job that's flexible, I couldn't imagine trying to do it with a minimum wage job
