🤦‍♂️ So much fail.

No one could 'force' monkeys to drop coconuts. At worst, such would be a reward system wherein the monkey feels as though the for-action gain is an acceptable trade. (which is technically indistinguishable from employment).

But also the salient points of whether the story is even true is in dispute.

Are Only idiots in charge of everything?

I thought this was a joke. They'll stand up for monkeys but not things that really matter!??

Lol making the monkeys do it? Yeah I was like hey, cheap labor 🤣 shoot, I mean they do breed monkeys just to experiment on.

At least they aren't giving this monkey cancer on purpose...

OMG! Too funny. How do you force monkeys to pick coconuts? I think monkeys probably enjoy picking coconuts. It's like "forcing" your dog to play fetch.

I like monkeys as much as the next guy, but C'mon man! It's the thing that.. ya know!

Interesting. I suppose they must have been pissed when the oxen plowed the fields.

What next?

Donkeys, mules, horses, oxen are all enslaved?

Chickens are enslaved in coups?

Pigs are enslaved for bacon and ham sandwiches?

Rats are enslaved in laboratories?

They won't sell products made with monkey "slave" labor. But they will gladly sell products made in Chinese sweatshops where they have to install anti-suicide nets because of how terrible conditions they work in! We truly live in clown world.
