I dont think that's accurate. Only he could remove himself or every single person of the majority would have to agree he showed a serious lack of competence. Ryan did what the GOP is known for. "No".
It was either his stupidity or being a RINO that lead to his decisions to forfeit legislation that could have saved the Republic.
" do think it's really cynical for them to try and take advantage of what was a tragic event that occurred yesterday in Washington - the terrorist attack on the Capitol was despicable
I listened to his podcast and I didn't get the feeling at all that he was against any of the peaceful protesting. Cruz has made it clear that Trump knows how to rile up his base though (and clearly he does, every rally is met with huge supporting crowds who cheer, sing, boo, laugh, etc.). I'd have to go back and listen if he specifically said that... but from what I heard, his issue was with the people who broke in (regardless of the situation of them getting in, or whatever).
He did specifically call the people who broke in terrorists though.
Lyin’ Cruz has lost all points he gained since 2016. He could have spoken up on the 6th when it counted. Instead he decided to cuck out and only virtue signal like he always does.
He spoke up. Even after what happened. There were a coalition of 11 senators who were going to question the results. He did it strategically... he really seems like a well thought out fighter. He just doesn't go in with spears and attack, he tries to outmaneuver when he can. He was trying to get an audit on Arizona that would last 10 days and it was supposed to lay the groundwork for the other states, and he had a backing by these 11 senators, and was hoping to get backing by the majority after these 11 spoke up. This wouldn't have been an audit to overturn, but to help build trust in the system.... now, he hasn't come out and said that he knows there would have been huge amount of irregularities actually proven, but he certainly seems to feel that way.
He was one of the only people who spoke up on the 6th, even after most those 11 senators cucked out, Cruz remained strong.
Cruz is an ally. Maybe you don't like him much, but he's an ally, and we shouldn't tear him down.
He didn’t speak up on the 6th, no Senator did. Sure he’s said a bunch of things at press conferences, but the one time he could have said something to make a difference he decided to remain silent. You’re idea of him acting “strategically” and “outmaneuvering” seems to be him hiding behind a rock hoping it will go away. Can you name one time he stood up for MAGA where he risked anything like Trump and countless other actual allies have done? Can you name one time that he stood up for MAGA in a way that wasn’t purely virtual signaling and beneficial for him?
Like a typical Republican, he introduced this knowing it wouldn't pass so he could grandstand as a Constitutional Patriot and get all our support to snuff out the possibility of a real America First candidate of taking him down.
Ignore it. It'll never pass, they know it, and it is merely a way for Cruz to tickle our nutsacks in hopes of keeping us around.
Why didn't they do it when they had the power. This is purely politics.
3 words, Paul RINO Ryan
Republicans could've removed Paul Ryan as Speaker any time they wanted if they really disagreed with the way he was handling things. They didn't.

They might get some bi-partisan support on this one.
Just repeal the 17th amendment.
Founding Fathers said Governors should appoint Senators.
Woodrow Fucking Wilson pushed 17th
POS... 3RD Worst President Ever. Maybe 2nd
Didnt Cruz call us terrorists?
Yes... Yes he did.
What a raging faggot...
He was referring to Antifa.
No. He called the people who destroyed stuff in the Capitol terrorists. The huge, vast majority of supporters he supports.
He disagrees with any violence on federal property, and he did all summer with BLM and Antifa. He's very consistent on this.
Did he acknowledge that the vast majority were peacefully protesting?

His coalition was literally starting to argue for the audit for Arizona when things were going down, and it was stopped in the middle.
But he has a beard and politicians haven't done beards since early 20th century! So cool...
Like a typical Republican, he introduced this knowing it wouldn't pass so he could grandstand as a Constitutional Patriot and get all our support to snuff out the possibility of a real America First candidate of taking him down.
He puts more work into his yt channel than his job.
Exactly. They always do this shit when they know it won't ever pass.
