Family and I planned a family trip to see the Rangers play the RedSox before the pandemic. I tried to make the most out of the weekend. Took the tour of Dealy Plaza (awesome museum), Bowling museum (also cool), and some old gangster casino (Vegas before Vegas) on a hilltop...don't recall the name of it but indeed interesting.

Final stop was the Dallas library. There is a John Dunlap Broadside copy of the Declaration of Independence. The copy comes from the first printing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776. It's one of only two on display I believe. Encased in glass. I read it and stared at it for about 30 min.

Making it up to the 7th floor though to see it broke my heart. Homeless sleeping in all the common areas, trash and needles in the bathrooms. They basically took over the place. You could tell people didn't like it but they just seemed deflated, like there was nothing they could do about it. There were homeless drug addicts sleeping all the way up on the 7th floor.

Anyway, it was an eye opening experience when lefties take over a city. One of our most beloved documents and the only way to get to it is manage your way through homeless drug addicts.

It's amazing how quickly Dallas turned into Seattle-lite after the Soros DA got elected

Last year I visited my mom in my home town which is in California. Was very sad to see how much the homeless population increased in the two years since I moved away from there. Meanwhile you have the now mostly empty mall due to having most of the stores now closed right down the street from the homeless camp. Wish we could do something to turn empty malls and such into affordable living or something similar for the homeless that actually want to turn their lives around.

Don't worry commrade, xiden and the installed administration will take care of everything! Pay no attention to those deplorable homeless drug addicts...they're probably orange man supporters anyway. They'll soon be sent to re-education camps. And as for that document under glass...forget that! It's already been rendered useless...So let's adopt the new world order laws...they're just soooo much better. More fair to everyone since there are no individual rights. Come on man! You know you don't need the "thing" anymore. What's the matter with you! πŸ˜‰

Seriously though...your story breaks my heart. God help us!

In a way, you're right. Communists don't tolerate the things they push once the destabilization phase is over because they cannot maintain a working system with them in place. "Gay marriage" (or tolerating any sexual deviancy at all), feminism, and anything else that disrupts society gets cracked down on harshly once they have fully taken over. Among the rabble that is, but that's where most people have issues with it.

The soviet union and the national socialists were no different in dealing with the problems that came before them even if they allowed the ones that caused it to escape.

I live in the DFW area. Murders in Dallas have been going up. So sad.

I was recently in a blue city airport, Chicago.

The main floors were a "normal" busy airport.

But had to go to the "basement" floor where the bus depot and subway trams out of the airport were.

Homeless tweakers all over the place. And I'm not using the term tweaking as a misnomer. Literally dirty smelling people laying around near the walls tweaking. And we all had to just walk by like nothing was happening. A few of the air port security were down there as well. Just downtrodden looks on their faces.

I'm sure a lot of the people I was with (both the air port security as well as the Chicagoans returning home on their flights) probably vote Blue no matter what. But man, I gotta hope at least a few of them get red-pilled over the coming years. In my experience, once you're red-pilled, you never go back.

the DA won't prosecute them so the police won't arrest them.

Do we need to REcriminalize drugs?

If decriminalization of drugs leads to homeless squatters everywhere and dumb brainwashed gullible demoKKKrat voters....

Every other year MSM reports corrupted council members and DISD being removed. They just keep replacing with the same pool. It’s good money for no brainer.

When we were children, my parents would take us to the downtown Dallas Library most Saturday mornings.

Always clean, well managed, and yes, quiet.
