Harry Truman wrote an OpEd calling his creation of the CIA one of the worst decisions of his presidency.

Here’s an interesting side note: the Bay of Pigs happened within the first 100 days of Kennedy’s term. It happened because CIA spooks convinced him that the attack would be a masterpiece.

After the disgrace, Kennedy called his father. His father told him “Didn’t I tell you to never trust the intelligence community?”

That was in 1960 - about 10 years after their firm creation. Just imagine what those psychopaths have become now, after 70 years of entrenchment in our government, with limitless funding.

JFK wanted to destroy the CIA. He had an executive order that hurt the Federal Reserve, and was the first Catholic President.

I’m sure a lot of people wanted him dead
