Before we send you out into the world to spread the message of GEOTW, let’s clear some things up.
-
Stop posting about Twitter not allowing the hashtag #1984. Twitter has never allowed numerical hashtags at all. So we look stupid saying it.
-
Stop talking about Antifa.com forwarding to biden.com or the WH, ANYONE can buy a domain for $10 and point it anywhere, and there is nothing the site its pointed at can do about it.
-
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, Know the difference between LOSE & LOOSE. Stop saying “LOOSING” it’s spelled “LOSING”
-
It’s MARTIAL LAW not “Marshall” 🤦♂️ That concludes your MAGA lesson of the day
The third grade spelling and grammar issues are insane. If you don't know, understand, and correctly utilize "there, their, and they're" you have no business talking shit to or about deranged leftists.
i use my phone exclusively to comment/post. My phone thinks it's smarter than me (it isn't) and fucks shit up regulary; hence, having to go edit nearly everything.
People who don't proofread their posts' phones actually ARE smarter than they are.
Your wrong.
That's the joke.
🙋🏼♀️ Is it snack time yet?
Election not Erection.
I used to work at a Cantonese restaurant. I loved "erection" year. I always win you laugh you lose thanks to them.
also it's "secession," not "succession."
ok boomer
I guess the 30 somethings are “Millennial Boomers”.....
ok boomer
Baby boomer goes through 1964. If they are under 56, not a boomer. Also, I can't think of a post referring to people that way that I took seriously.
Don't say "he's not MY President", say "he's not THE President". Also, I believe the title President (for the USA) is capitalized.
While I agree with your first comment, AP Style calls for capitalization only when used as part of a name and title, as is the case with most titles (vice president, director, etc.)
https://writingexplained.org/ap-style/ap-style-president
Also, secede and secession, not succeed and succession.
Does this mean were not putting Marshall in charge?
Fuck that. Then we have Lilly telling him what to do.
But Lilly is awesome!
Someone did a video that Lilly was the worst person who ever lived. Was mildly entertaining and warped my perspective of her.
Hahah I'll have to look for it.
https://thechive.com/2017/12/25/definitive-proof-that-lily-from-himym-was-the-worst-person-on-tv-28-photos/
A testament to Allison Haynigan that she made such a horrible person lovable.
Hah! What a bitch.
People aren't bias. People who have a bias are biased.
Addendum: people also aren't prejudice, they are prejudiced.
These two in particular drive me bonkers.
Ill tell you what I'm sick of. Dumbasses correcting spelling when my eyes don't work from staring at this thing 24/7 waiting for justice to arrive, whilst entering messages on a telephone keyboard that changes spelling for you and is way the fuck too small. I think most of us know the difference between Capitol and capital, loose and lose and their and they're.
How about you save it for you're own blog looser, and lettuce all put a stop to the word Nazis on posts.
I have yet to find a decent keyboard since Swype disappeared off the face of the Earth.
Half the time you can't even edit a post to correct yourself and frankly it's not usually worth my time.
LOL! I love you pedes!
Would this be the appropriate time for a short lesson on your and you’re or it’s and its? I would never call anyone out in this forum for bad grammar but if anyone ever wondered....
Your = something belonging to you... your eyes, your family, your dog...
You’re = contraction for you are. You’re a genius, you’re pretty, you’re right... If you re-read your sentence and replace “your“ with “you are” and it makes sense then “you’re“ is the appropriate choice.
Its = Something belonging to it. Its Constitution, its people, its flag (in these examples it is the USA)...
It’s = contraction for it is. It’s cold, it’s ugly, it’s the end of America...
Kek, ok this is accurate.
Good. Now that you got the ball rolling, we all need to talk about Marital law as well. Cuz that shit's fucked yo
yeah, another good one.. its not Marshall fucking law. Who the fuck is Marshall? Its martial as in Martial arts. As in war/military matters.
Oh I know, it's like a Marshall Amp Law. Tho shall not turn distortion up too high
Hey OP,
“there is nothing the site its pointed at can do about it.“
Did you mean “its“ or “it’s“, contraction of it is 😉
*There is nothing the site at which it's pointed can do about it.
Don't put prepositions after nouns or ends of sentences. Chief grammar cringe. Usage is literally in the description of the word 'preposition'. Pre-position. Come on.
Also, one of us owns the antifa domain. They linked it to his campaign site a long time ago.
Many times autocorrect puts in the wrong words for people. Personally I dont care about grammar for that specific reason. Its not "how" the word is spelled, its the intention behind the words that are important.
it takes away from the message though. I know when I see "loose" - and I've been seeing it A LOT - I automatically just shake my head. Its like people who used to say AXE instead of ASK - it indicates that the author is not working past an 8th grade level. Who the fuck wants to hear your intricate political opinion if you can't even make that mark? Yes the message is key. But in the real world, people will judge what you say and how you said it - accuracy and delivery matters.
I mean you're not wrong. But again, a lot of the grammar errors are due to "autocorrect" (or lack thereof). Especially on phones. If you are making a serious post with a serious message, then yes, certainly make sure the grammar is proper. But for something like a comment on another post, I dont see it as being a big issue.
Usually people are in a hurry and dont feel the need to make certain the grammar is perfect. For example, I have used the word "don't" several times and haven't bothered to put any apostrophes in the word. I realize it's a bit different than misspelling a word entirely or using a different word. And again, if you are making a serious post, I absolutely agree that grammar should be done properly. Comments however I feel are unnecessary.
My concern is more about the lack of spacing in long winded posts/comments (such as my own lol). I generally won't even read them if they are too cluttered.
As a professional proofreader and amateur grammar Nazi, I would tell people not to sweat comments so much, but would strongly suggest they put a little extra effort into posts and memes before saving.
But we still get French Benefits, right?
Free Africans!
Secede not succeed
Thank you man, the left has trained the world to immediately jump on these sorts of things to discredit any other legitimate information held by the same source. Typical communist tactic, but I am surprised how naïve so many are on our side how to push back against these cultists and what NOT to do.
Also stop with the 80 year old, grandma, facebook level memes that make some claim with zero source.
Fools were spreading around one single picture of VP having hand on some book that was the bible, but title could not be seen in angle of the one shot they chose. Two minutes of looking at other pictures from that moment would have shown the truth, but no the dopamine, Q level fools thought they found a scorching fucking smoking gun and instead made our side look like ignorant rednecks.
See atodaso.
3!
2 A webserver can absolutely configured to reject forwards from different/specific URL.
webserver response: https://whitehouse.gov 301 Moved Permanently
The fix? The appropriate IT dept could add a simple line to the WH webserver. They just don't want to.
location = /index.html { if ($http_referer ~* (www.)?antifa.com) { return 403; } }
The HTTP 403 Forbidden client error status response code indicates that the server understood the request but refuses to authorize it.
Loosing is from the Bible. Look it up.
Not sure about some of this but I support addressing Word Crimes. Take a few minutes to think as they are elucidated: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Gv0H-vPoDc
Some of the posts on here do have me shaking my head.
Thank you TrollaKaren, I wouldn't know what to do without you.
I agree on teh spelling thing though...
