Fuck Microsoft and fuck Windows. You have NO idea what's going on inside that black box of closed source spyware. Any privacy/security measures you put in place are moot if the system you're running them on can't be trusted. Ditch Windows and install Linux. It's much better anyway (and by the way, tons of Steam games work great on Linux now thanks to Steam Proton)
Also, I recommend looking into Pine64. They make the Pine Phone (several linux distros available for it), the Pinebook ARM laptop, the Pinetime smart watch, and other stuff. Cool company and very transparent. I have the Pinephone and Pinebook myself.
