I think there's still work arounds. I'm just beginning to dabble in it myself. Hopefully someone more experienced with crypto can chip in with their thoughts and advice.
There are ATMs (or at least used to be), and you can buy it for cash on the darknet.
You can also launder bitcoin, where you send btc to a mixer, and get random amounts adding up to nearly what you sent from several other accounts - this breaks the tracking. Assuming the mixer isn't compromised. A similar version of this uses online casinos to decouple your tracked bitcoins from your known wallet to an anonymous wallet.
But you need to keep your laundered bitcoins completely separate from your personally-ID'd bitcoins, and you need to be careful with your laundered bitcoins. It's a huge PITA and not really worth it unless you're buying drugs on the darkweb - but if you look up tutorials provided by darkweb dealers for buyers they'll walk you through all of this. Intellectually, I find it all fascinating.
There's always work arounds. But like Twitter. Facebook and Gab. The left pushes very strongly, what they can control and 90% of the sheeple don't question it.
I've been buying and trading bitcoin since it literally nothing. Something to be given away using u/bitcointip on Reddit or mined then deleted because "what the hell am I going to do with 20 of these bitcoin garbage coins.."
I've watched it change over time. From a nice anonymous currency to a government regulated pile of garbage used to siphon money away from unsuspecting individuals and move them to corporations who are controlling it.
It's just like RobinHood. Hundreds of millions of people downloaded that app. Threw $10 at it. Lost almost all. That's billions of dollars. Just siphoned from the individuals and given to the big companies who employ the skilled stock traders to take all the money.
Lots of people struck it rich with BTC. Don't get me wrong. It's less of a scam vs RobinHood but. Don't be fooled. It's just as regulated and tracked.
Add PayPal to be REPLACED..
Crypto replaced paypal and also replaces the central banking system, Big Banks, Rothschilds, leaves the IRS behind, etc.
Untrue. Ever tried to buy crypto. It's all government regulated. Ssn traces. Taxes. It's just another bs fiat currency
