I’m creating a barebones website and doing grassroots campaigning to promote a podcast and blog in my area. Fliers on windshields, on doors, in newspaper tubes, etc.

Best way to beat big tech and reaching a bigger audience is by finding another playing field that they can’t censor you on

The username is what I want to become but I’m not there yet by any means.

We need far more people like you. Are you hosting the site with Epik? Any hosts you can recommend for anonymity and commitment to free speech?

I just finished the .html yesterday and sent it to some close friends who are to provide feedback. I haven’t looked at hosting yet, but that’s the next step. It looks like Epik is committed to free speech. Not sure about anonymity, but that’s something I will look at.

You might be able to buy a pre-paid credit card with cash and use that to pay for the hosting (and simply give fake personal details). Not that Epik has any ill intention towards patriots and nationalists but you never know who might hack them or what corrupt government agency might legally force them to hand over data.

If you do discover a bulletproof way to host a site for free and anonymously please let me know! I can also recommend this free hosting site that I used to make this NPC generator. They never asked for personal info or payment, and if you're hosting a simple HTML website it should work well. Only problem is if the link dies your hardcopy ads won't point to it anymore. I recommend putting a main link on your posters and then smaller text below saying "if that link dies, try these:".
