Looking for opinions and feedback. My HR department has been sending out many emails lately STRONGLY encouraging employees to get their COVID vaccine. I have a suspicion that they are going to force me to get the vaccine or lose my job. I have an appointment with an attorney to discuss what my options are. I know the EEOC has allowed employers to make this decision and the only reasons for not getting it are disabilities and religious beliefs. Has anyone else ran across this or are currently experiencing this?

Good question. I think one point to consider is what state the employer is legalized in and what state you work for them if it differs. Health insurance companies write policies for people in differing states, try tying these pieces together.
The implication from my employer is that it is assumed all employees will get the vaccine. I will not be getting the vaccine. I am hoping large-scale lawsuits will arise from this, but given where our country is at, I now have little faith in that battle.

Since bad orange man is out of office and covid is no longer needed to tank the economy to get him out office. It is going to be a wait and see thing. As the country opens up and covid is pushed into nonexistent, many employers and health departments are going take the vaccine requirement to the back burner.
