Yes, we all have much to repent for and be in contrition about since we've done so much wrong. But to throw out a blanket statement that all white people need to shine the shoes of black people is misguided and extremely presumptuous. However, that doesn't make him evil. Maybe he personally has had prior connections to racism that make him particularly sensitive to the issue. Who knows?
