Not really, before all this Lin Wood's life was in chaos. His practice was falling apart, his partners were all suing him because he went off the deep end and started assaulting and threatening them, threatening their children, talk about having sex with their wives, and calling himself "Almighty Lin" and that God is commanding him to do all this stuffand writing some truly batshit long crazy emails if you've read the lawsuit. Guy is off his rocker. Something happened to him mentally.
i don't know about all of that and what the real story is, or how any of that played out- but i searched online for his net worth and it's estimated to be $50-100 million.
i hardly call giving someone the benefit of the doubt “defending them”. im not one to emotionally condemn someone when i dont know the whole story. people like you are like spectators at a poker table, shouting at the players telling them how to play their cards. then, when it looks like theyve lost, you drag them out into the street mid game and hang them up in a tree.
