The "insurrection" isn't over mandatory masks, or the federalization of the economy, or mandatory quarantines or isolations. The insurrection isn't Italian voter fraud or CIA hacking of the U.S. election. It isn't the Deep State taking control of virtually every facet of the tech sector and censoring people and wrting the news to deceive the American public. No. None of that.
It's the ability for the government to deport people. THAT'S the insurrection against the country.
Un-fucking-believable. The ONE thing Texas sues over is an Intelligence Community activity that Biden stopped. The ONE THING Texas cares about right now, out of all the gross attacks on the Constitution and state sovereignty. He cares about deporting people. The ONE thing that furthers a police state that Biden stopped.
Deporting NON-citizens is different than deportation of citizens.
And frankly, I've never liked the idea of deporting criminals. If the only consequence to committing a crime is a free trip back to your hometown, then that's not punishment for a crime. An illegal alien who commits a crime here should have to serve out their full sentence and THEN get deported upon release.
Even if it's non-citizens. It was still the first curtailment of the endless beefing up of the national security state that Biden did, which was immediately challenged in court and revoked.
