I've been using a religious exemption to go around the mask mandate at work and supposedly tomorrow OSHA adopts a mandatory mask policy. Even though I've spoke with a lawyer and know that my employer can't terminate for the religious exemption, I was hoping to double-up on my anti-mask security and get a medical exemption as well.

After four TeleHealth conferences and a day of searching, no doctor will give a medical exemption (all have roughly the same generic response) and I can't find the specific OSHA policy stating mask requirements to see if it provides any exceptions.

Just say you have alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency. Will work better if you can make yourself wheeze on demand.

For real though, the reason why is because they are pushing the narrative that there are no medical exemptions from wearing a mask. Theres no reason not to, it doesnt affect you blah blah blah.
