gods work man!
TOR and EFF both take money from Soros' Open Society Foundations, for what it's worth.
Yeah sadly I am aware of that and understand to what degree that could be leveraged in the same way that it was used with pro freedom of speech organizations in recent decades. For the time being they seem reasonably dedicated to their organization mandate though. If you find any specific bullshit they’re doing definitely be loud about it because people will drop them and start new networks.
I have no evidence either are compromised and am not adept enough to detect it if they were, but the Soros connection is a bit disconcerting.
I do use both TOR and Privacy Badger myself.
Same, there are some other cool things that I could see becoming the “New TOR” but nothing is there as of yet sadly. We’re probably going to get a fully distributed set of virtualized TOR exit nodes though once ethereum stops pretending to be a currency and gas prices go down.
