Yep. I always get "we miss you" emails from companies but this was different... They just started texting her her notifications, like "so and so commented on a photo you're tagged in..."
When you donate, they require a phone number, that is how they get the numbers, not from people being dumb.
Unless donating is also dumb, which at this point I think it would be :)
I have mostly switched to MeWe and Gab and have not been on Facebook much since Jan. 6th, although I have posted several times on Facebook encouraging people to switch to other platforms. One time I posted, "I'm really enjoying MeWe -- they have fun emojis, interesting groups, and no censorship so far." Literally the NEXT DAY, I get an add from FB that says, "You can have fun on Facebook, too! Did you know we have lots of fun cat videos?" (I hate cat videos.) It was SO CREEPY!!!!
MeWe isn't a free speech platform, btw.

I did a little more research on this. The owner of the MeWe Stop the Steal group said that he deleted the group (not MeWe) because it was infiltrated with trolls. He started a new group with the name Protest Against Fraudulent Elections. There are currently three active groups on MeWe called Protest Against Fraudulent Elections, 2020 Election Fraud, and Election Fraud. They are all active and have a lot of members.

I heard that. Still trying to figure it out. I was able to post the one-minute "How to Steal an Election" video on MeWe and it was not censored or taken down. I'm on a "Conservative Christians" group on there, and people post things about the fraud constantly. No censorship so far that I have seen.

I started getting all sorts of messages from FB and tried turning off notifications on my phone but that didn't work. I thought maybe it was gmail but I finally just deactivated my FB.
Having been given 30-day posting bans several times I can tell you that they HATE it when you don't open the banned account for that 30 days. They can't stand that you won't be subjected to their advertisements for such a long period of time. And they will try every trick in the book to get you to log in quickly again either through emails or texts that make it appear that you need to see a certain post or other. Can't imagine why they expect us to morosely look at posts that we can't respond to. I suspect that this is all automated anyway. Just ignore it.

I only use FB for one group - Harry Markled, about that idiot, cuck Prince. And luckily the administrator is posting about starting a substack forum because I really never want to click on FB again.
